Problem Statement: Sugar Mama Desserts needed a greater online presence and engagement of existing (and new) customers. It also needed to drive online target leads to in-store (farmers’ market) sales and catering.
My strategy (and why): I conducted market research of Sugar Mama Dessert’s target markets and conducted a survey to better understand their needs and interests. This informed the marketing content and direction. Afterwards, I created a series of social media posts and email messages to increase engagement online and attract quality target leads. The messaging and content focused on customers’ interests in fresh ingredients, homestyle and new flavors, and ease of setting up an ice cream social.
